THESIS
For my graduation, i have chosen 5 STAR HOTEL topic for my thesis because this is the only entity which have complex Back of House services and on the other hand beautiful Front of House exhibition of space. I always get impressed by the aesthetics of the hotel, as well as curios to know how all the service work and still not visible.
SITE:
The site was in proposed district centre with hotel, sector 49, Gurgaon.
I specifically chose this site because of it's accessibility to airport, railway station, IT hub an dmany other features.
And according to the site other climatic and physical factors have been considered.
Like soil bearing capacity, water level, sewage line, water connectivity and electric power lines. And putting all these in mind, ways to balance the climate have been considered.
CONCEPT:
The design itself reflects my concept about the structure. I have an image of A PEARL WITH A SHELL from day one while thinking of the topic somehow. Maybe because of the solid structure of a hotel with beautiful articulation inside.
